This blue velvet sectional had seen a lot of everyday use. Built-up soil, body oils, and general wear had worked their way deep into the fabric - the kind of grime that regular vacuuming just doesn't touch. That's exactly where we come in.
To do this right, we pulled the cushions off and got into every section of the frame. Cleaning a sectional this size isn't a quick wipe-down. We worked through each piece methodically, pulling soil out from the fabric and getting into the crevices that usually get skipped. The process takes time, but that's how you actually clean a couch instead of just freshening the surface.
What's easy to miss with upholstery is how much a dirty sofa affects the feel of an entire room. It's the biggest piece of furniture in most living spaces. When it's carrying months - or years - of buildup, the whole room feels off. Getting it properly cleaned makes a noticeable difference without buying anything new.
Velvet and velvet-like fabrics are also a little more delicate than your average upholstery. Too aggressive and you risk damaging the pile. Too light and you're not actually cleaning it. We know how to read the fabric and adjust our approach accordingly - that's what separates a real upholstery cleaning from a surface job.
If your couch is at the point where you're not sure it can be saved, it probably just needs a proper clean. Most people are surprised by how much life is still left in a sofa once the soil is out.
